Question: Where should I go to check the credentials of the school I choose?

Answer: Most legitimate schools will offer federal aid. If they do not, then this is a major red flag and you should investigate further online.

Question: If I decide this field is not for me, can I train for something in a similar field and still use my degree?

Answer: Yes and No. If you decide on another field instead, you will have to be certified for that before you practice. However, a lot of the basic classes are the same you it won't be a complete waste.
